Payment methods
We now process the payment for all orders made on this website through Paypal. This is the fastest, most secure way to make payments online. The Paypal system allows you to pay using any credit/debit card without needing a PayPal account. If you have a PayPal account the system gives you the flexibility to pay in three clicks using your credit/debit card, transferring funds via your PayPal account balance or directly from your bank account.
Do I need a PayPal account?
No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this website. Although if you already have a PayPal account you can use it.
Is there an alternative to PayPal?
Yes, you can find all our books on the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers website (www.find-a-book.com) and pay using their payment system which accepts credit cards too. If you prefer to order and pay directly, do feel free to telephone us at any time and discuss your requirements.
Postal charges are automatically added to the basket when you choose your delivery option. These are standardised and will apply to all single 8vo volumes. If an additional charge is necessary (for heavy volumes or sets of books) we will always advise you in advance and request your agreement.
Returns policy
All books may be returned within seven days if not required for any reason, or if found to be not as described, for a full refund (including all postage costs if the fault is ours).
Security
SecurityMetrics carry out regular security audits and has determined that R.F.G.Hollett & Son is fully COMPLIANT with the PCI validation requirements.
Delivery information
All books are sent by Royal Mail, first class post within the UK, airmail elsewhere (unless surface mail is requested). Postage and packing is charged at cost, but the price of all books includes insurance in transit. Books are extremely well packed, and despatched the same day whenever possible.
Our books
Our books are all 8vo, published in London and in very good condition or better, unless otherwise stated. Bookplates and inscriptions are noted only if of particular interest or if obtrusive. Dustwrappers are protected with outer polypropylene or archival plastic covers. All books are sold as complete unless otherwise stated.
